Tribunal sacks, bars Plateau lawmaker from contesting elections for life

Tribunal sitting in Jos, Plateau state yesterday sacked the member
representing Langtang South constituency in the state Assembly, Vincent
Bulus, of PDP and also barred him for life from contesting elections.
Chairman of the tribunal, Justice Akeredolu, while delivering her judgment on a petition filed by APC candidate Danladi Jackson challenging his eligibility to contest in an election, said Bulus was not qualified to contest any election because he had been convicted of an offence in line with Section 107(1)(d) of the 1999 constitution as amended.
